  • The first NFL Sunday night primetime game of the season will feature the Los Angeles Rams traveling to take on the Detroit Lions.-
  • The game features two playoff teams from a year ago.
  • With two highly ranked offenses in action the expectation is for plenty of points on the board.

The Sunday Night game features two teams who surprised last season as the Rams made it to the NFC Conference Championship game while the Rams earned a wild-card berth when many expected them to be in a rebuild. They were two of the highest scoring teams in 2023 and we could be in store for an offensive shootout in Detroit.

Best Prop Bets

Kyren Williams: Over 64.5 Yards

After solidifying himself as the starter in Week 4 of last year, Kyren Williams became an absolute workhorse for the Rams. He covered this number in his last seven straight regular season games and eight of the last nine. He may not have as many carries but has the skill to break off big yardage on just a couple of runs.

Jahmyr Gibbs: Over 58.5

Jahmyr Gibbs split the backfield with David Montgomery but should be RB1 in 2024. Last year,he went over this total 7 times and covered his rushing yards in 11 of the last 15 games. Just like WIlliams, his explosiveness can create big runs on just a few plays.

Amon-Ra St. Brown: Anytime TD (+100)

Amon-Ra St. Brown is fresh off a new deal worth $120 millions dollars over four years and has become one of the best receivers in the game. He found the end zone ten times last season and amassed more than 1,500 yards and 119 receptions. He should be able to get behind the Rams secondary and find paydirt Sunday.

Puka Nacua: Anytime TD (+120)

Puka Nacua heads into his sophomore season after a record breaking rookie campaign. He set a new mark for receiving yards(1,486), and receptions(105). Nacua only scored 6 times in 2023 but he will now be Matthew Stafford’s top target behind Cooper Cupp.

Game Betting Odds

Los Angeles Rams +3.5 (-114)
Detroit Lions -3.5 (-106)
Total: 51

Prediction: Game Total Over 51

The Lions and Rams offenses can score and both sides have elite offenses, and suspect secondaries. Matthew Stafford and Jared Goff could get into a wild shootout and both teams can easily put up 30 points with the game coming down to the final possession.
