Steelers vs Eagles Week 15: Odds, Injuries, Trends, Player Props

Get ready for the latest installment of the Battle of Pennsylvania. Over the last six meetings both teams have three wins apiece with the Eagles coming out victorious in the last game back in 2022. Philadelphia was expected to be a contender in the NFC and have done that with a 11-2 record but not many saw the Steelers leading the AFC North. Now, the Battle of Pennsylvania could be a Super Bowl preview as both teams are serious contenders.

Best Bet: Steelers +5

The Steelers may be one of the biggest surprises this season and Mike Tomlin continues to get the best out of his roster every week. Russell Wilson is playing his best football in a couple of years and the defense is doing what it always does. Pittsburgh’s defense has the ability to slow down the Eagles run game as this unit is ninth in opponents yards per carry at 4.3 yards per rush. And you can’t discount the fact the Steelers always find a way to cover this season going 10-3 ATS, tied for number one in the NFL.

Player Prop Plays

Pat Freiermuth: OVER Receiving Yards

Pat Freiermuth has become a huge part of the Steelers offense recently. He leads the team with 5 receiving scores and has 13 catches in his last three games. If the game script has the Eagles jumping out to a lead, expect the Steelers to pass, with Freiermuth a big target for Russell Wilson.

A.J. Brown: UNDER Receptions

A.J. Brown isn’t happy with the Eagles offense, because he isn’t getting the ball. He hasn’t had more than 6 receptions in a game this year, a far cry from the nine games last season with more than 7 catches in a game. If the Eagles continue to just run the ball, Brown will be used sparingly. And with a sour attitude, maybe he doesn’t get as many snaps.
