Georgia, Alabama Battle For Conference Supremacy in SEC Showdown

They are the two most powerful schools in football and former national champions and now they meet for a chance to make their stand as the best team in the SEC, and the nation. Third ranked Alabama hosting number two Georgia in a battle of the undefeated.

HOW ALABAMA WINS

Alabama still has an explosive offense under Kalen DeBoer but this will be his first real test against one of the best defensive units in the country. The Crimson Tide have scored at least 42 points in their three games while giving up just 9 points per game, sixth best in the nation. Jalen Milroe and his offense face a stout pass rush as Mykel Williams returns from injury and will be on the attack with Georgia’s other edge rusher, Jalon Walker. If Milore can find some room on the ground, Alabama could make enough plays to pull the upset at home.

GEORGIA BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs last game wasn’t their best performance struggling to get by Kentucky 13-12. But coming off a bye, you know Kirby Smart will have his players ready for this SEC clash. It appears the public assumes Georgia will bounce back with a better game plan as the line has shifted from 1.5 to 2.5. The Bulldogs looked unstoppable in the opener against another possible playoff team as they ran through Clemson 34-3. Carson Beck has passed for 680 yards and seven TD’s and completed 68% of his passes. He should be ready to showcase his stock as many feel he’ll be the first pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

BEST PLAYER PROP PLAYS

Alabama, QB Jalen Milroe: Anytime TD (-120)

Jalen Milroe has thrown for eight touchdowns, but he has also run for six majors, two in every game. The defensive challenge will be much different but Milroe has the legs to find his way to pay dirt again. And another one you may want to consider, Milroe for two scores (+400), as QB sneaks could come in handy inside the two-yard line.

Georgia, RB Trevor Etienne: Anytime TD (-150)

I don’t like the price but this game has all the signs of Trevor Etienne getting the ball often, especially in the red zone. He hasn’t found the end zone yet but has rushed for 157 yards in two games. Another bet that may be of interest is Etienne finding the end zone twice (+300).
