- Week 1 action features a matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Buffalo Bills.
- Buffalo had one of the top scoring offenses in football a year ago.
- Arizona ranked #24 (tie) in scoring offense putting up just 19.4 points per game.
With a healthy Kyler Murray and a motivated Josh Allen, we’re in for a week one treat this Sunday between the Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills. Two teams that just a season ago were at opposite ends of the spectrum, are now expected to put on a show for fans instead of the one sided bludgeoning we may have gotten a year ago. Let’s take a look at some key prop plays for this contest.
Best Prop Bets
Arizona Cardinals
Kyler Murray: Over 30.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Thanks to an ACL injury that has hampered him over the past few years, people have
forgotten who Kyler Murray truly is. The guy can ball with the best of them and when push comes to shove, this guy can move. He rushed for over 30 yards in five of the eight games he played in last year alone. With a healthy knee, expect him to come out of the gates flying and crush the over.
Marvin Harrison Jr.: Over 61.5 Receiving Yards (-118)
He might be a rookie but the fourth overall pick from this year’s draft immediately becomes Murray’s top target. Marvin Harrsion Jr. was a beast during his time at Ohio State and is looking to keep the train rolling in the pros. He missed the 100 reception yard mark just four times in 12 games in his last season as a Buckeye.
Buffalo Bills
James Cook: Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-114)
Buffalo’s James Cook ran for over 60 yards in each of his final two playoff games last year and looks to continue that trend heading into this season. The Cardinals were the worst rushing defense in the NFL in 2023, allowing an average of 143.2 yards per game. While they attempted to address this area during the offseason, they’re facing a Bill’s team that averaged 130.1 yards on the ground per contest last year.
Dalton Kincaid: Over 50.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
The Bills have an almost all-new receiving corps and with Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis out of Buffalo, it’s up to second-year tight end Dalton Kincaid to fill the void up front. Kincaid finished the 2023 regular season and playoffs strong with at least 45 receiving yards in four straight games to end things.
