The NHL will begin the 2023-2024 regular season on October 10 but sportsbooks are already hanging numbers for the 2024 Stanley Cup championship as well as odds on divisional and conference titles. In this article, we’ll take a look at the Eastern Conference futures odds at BetOnline.ag. The Eastern Conference is expected to be highly competitive in the 2023-2024 season. Sitting atop the odds board are the Carolina Hurricanes (+500) and New Jersey Devils (+525). They are followed by the Toronto Maple Leafs (+700), New York Rangers (+750), Boston Bruins (+800) and Florida Panthers (+900).
At the other end of the board, there are two teams priced at +8000–the Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadiens. Only one other team is priced at odds longer than +3300 and that’s the Columbus Blue Jackets at +6600. The Detroit Red Wings (+3300), Washington Capitals (+3300) and New York Islanders (+2500) are other longshots.
