It’s an NFC West matchup between two teams going in opposite directions. After a 1-4 start, the Rams have won two straight while the Seahawks started 3-0, but have gone 1-4 since. And with a wide open division, this is an important game for these teams as all four are within just half a game of each other.
Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are turning things around of late and go into Seattle on a bit of a roll. Their two stars are back and now is the time to make a push for the playoffs. LA got a big win against the Vikings in Week 8 where Matthew Stafford completed 25 of 34 passes for 279 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Kyren Williams was a workhorse in that game, 97 yards on 23 carries, expect him to be busy again. He did score two touchdowns against the Seahawks last season. And Puka is starting to find his form, 7 catches for 106 yards. He torched the secondary last year, 189 yards and a touchdown in two games.
Seattle Seahawks
After a hot start, the Seahawks have been inconsistent of late. Two weeks ago, they went into Atlanta and took care of the Falcons 34-14. It appeared they were back on track. But last week, an awful performance against the Bills. DK Metcalf was injured, Geno Smith was shaky, throwing for 212 yards, an interception and no touchdowns. The team struggled in the red zone and in the running game, putting up just 16 yards on the ground. The defense is starting to show some holes, allowing 24 points a game. They’ll need to find a way to put pressure on Stafford or it could be another tough result in the Emerald city.
Best Bet: OVER 48.5
If both sides are healthy, the receivers are top notch, with the ability to turn every reception into something special. DK Metcalf is still questionable, while Jaxson Smith-Njigba has been getting more targets his way. Cooper Cupp and Puka Nacua are back and dangerous as ever. Seattle’s defense hasn’t been good of late, allowing 29 or more points in four of the last five games. Both defenses are in the bottom half overall in third down percentages. There is too much offensive power on both sides and we should see points.
Player Prop Plays
Kenneth Walker III & Kyren Williams: Anytime TD Parlay +140
The Seahawks couldn’t establish the run against the Bills but he had three touchdowns in the previous two games. He should get carries inside the ten and has a great chance to hit paydirt again. Williams has scored in every game, has 10 total touchdowns and is the most dangerous weapon on the team. It’s a no-brainer.
