- The LINQ was closed on March 16 as part of the statewide shutdown of the gaming industry in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- The gaming floor and limited amenities have been open since June 12.
- Caesars Entertainment has not announced reopening plans for the Cromwell, Planet Hollywood and the Rio.
Caesars Entertainment has announced that they’ll reopen The LINQ Hotel for Sunday through Thursday stays beginning this week. The property will officially reopen at 10 AM Pacific Time on Thursday, September 10. The gaming floor at The LINQ as well as limited amenities have been open since June 12.
With the reopening of the hotel a number of other amenities will return. Of particular note is the return of the property’s sports betting offerings. The LINQ Sportsbook–known simply as ‘The Book’–will be open for wagering Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and Sunday. As has been widely reported, William Hill has taken over operation of the Caesars Entertainment sportsbooks following the merger with Eldorado Resorts. When the betting windows are closed you can place bets from a wagering kiosk at the property and via the William Hill app. The Book ‘Fan Cave’ and Lounge Area will be open Thursday, Friday and Monday 3 PM to 11 PM and Saturday/Sunday from 8 AM to 11 PM. Food from Guy Fieiri’s Vegas Kitchen will also be available during these hours (I highly recommend the Trash Can Nachos).
The LINQ gaming floor is open 24/7 and on weekends O’Shea’s Casino will open as well. It’ll be open from Friday to Sunday noon to midnight but the bar will remain closed. The Spa and Fitness Center will be open on weekends with limited hours. The pool will also be open reduced hours. Aside from the aforementioned Guy Fieri grub in the sportsbook you can also eat at Nook Express (Friday through Sunday 6 AM to 2 PM) Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen and Bar (Thursday through Monday 5 PM to 11 PM and Hash House A Go Go (Sunday through Thursday 8 AM to 2 PM and Friday and Saturday 8 AM to 10 PM).
Senior Vice President and The LINQ Hotel + Experience General Manager Dan Walsh gave the obligatory quote:
“With its center-Strip location, The LINQ Hotel + Experience conveniently offers many distinctive experiences for guests to enjoy including an array of restaurants, gaming, retail outlets, one-of-a-kind attractions and other amenities, all in one place. With a continued emphasis on our enhanced health and safety protocols, we also look forward to welcoming guests back to staying at our contemporary hotel.”
The company gave no guidance as to when the remaining properties in Las Vegas will open other than this now familiar bit of boilerplate:
Caesars will open its remaining Las Vegas properties in line with customer demand, regulatory requirements and any additional health and safety considerations.
