- Underdog Fantasy is now the official fantasy sports partner for the United Football League
- The announcement was made to coincide with the UFL’s championship game.
- The UFL is a spring football league with TV coverage on the FOX Sports networks.
The United Football League (UFL) has signed a partnership with Underdog Fantasy, making it the exclusive fantasy sports partner of the spring football league. This announcement comes just as the UFL gears up for its Championship game, marking a significant milestone for both organizations.
As part of the agreement, Underdog Fantasy will serve as the official fantasy sports sponsor of the UFL. The partnership will include several high-visibility elements throughout the season:
Underdog Fantasy will be the presenting partner for the league’s point-after-touchdown (PAT) plays. Unlike traditional football leagues, the UFL offers teams three PAT options:
A play from the two-yard line for one point.
A play from the five-yard line for two points.
A play from the ten-yard line for three points.
Underdog will also sponsor the “Touchdown of the Week” campaign, celebrating the most exciting touchdowns of the week during the inaugural UFL season.
The sponsorship will be prominently featured in FOX UFL broadcasts, integrating Underdog’s brand into the viewing experience for fans.
Underdog Fantasy’s founder and co-CEO, Jeremy Levine, emphasized the synergy between the two organizations:
“The company and the UFL share a similar DNA – leading with innovation and constantly testing new, fan-focused ideas, so it’s a very natural partnership.”
UFL President and CEO Russ Brandon echoed Levine’s sentiments, noting that the partnership aligns two brands on an exciting growth trajectory:
“The collaboration matches two brands on an exciting trajectory that will grow together,” Brandon said. This partnership is expected to drive significant engagement and growth for both the UFL and Underdog Fantasy, leveraging their shared focus on innovation and fan-centric strategies.
The UFL Conference Championship games will kick off with the Michigan Panthers facing the Birmingham Stallions for the USFL Conference title on Saturday, June 8, at 3 p.m. ET on ABC/ESPN+. The Championship game is scheduled for June 16 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, promising an exciting conclusion to the season.
The partnership between the United Football League and Underdog Fantasy represents a strategic alignment aimed at fostering innovation and enhancing the fan experience. As the UFL Championship approaches, this collaboration is set to bring new levels of excitement and engagement to the league’s growing fan base.
